Most returns happen because a fabric behaved differently than someone expected. This is what each of ours actually does.
Chiffon
Light, slightly sheer, and it moves. Chiffon drapes rather than holds a shape, which is why it suits scarves and occasion pieces. It creases less than linen but snags on rough jewellery.
Best for: scarves, occasion wear. Care: cold hand wash, dry in shade.
Cotton
Breathable and a little grippy — which is exactly why cotton scarves stay put without pins. It softens with every wash and handles Cairo summers better than anything else we stock.
Best for: everyday scarves, shirts, summer. Care: machine wash cold, iron medium.
Linen
The most breathable fabric we use, and the most honest — it creases, and it is supposed to. Linen gets softer and better with age.
Best for: long shirts, summer dresses. Care: cold gentle wash, hang damp so it drops out its own creases.
Crepe
A textured weave that resists creasing almost completely. Crepe holds a clean line from morning to evening, which makes it our go-to for anything you will wear for a full day.
Best for: abayas, wrap dresses, cardigans. Care: cold wash, low iron from the reverse.
Satin
Smooth with a quiet sheen. Satin is what turns an ordinary cut into something for an evening. It shows water marks, so keep it away from the sink.
Best for: occasion blouses, evening scarves. Care: hand wash cold, never wring, iron cool from the reverse.
Jersey
Stretchy knit with grip. A jersey scarf needs no pins at all — you wrap it once and it stays.
Best for: no-fuss everyday hijab. Care: machine wash cold, reshape damp, do not tumble dry.
Freska
A soft, fluid fabric with a matte finish and good body — it falls without clinging, which is why we use it for our flowing maxi dresses.
Best for: long dresses. Care: cold gentle wash, low iron.
